Kiosna is Sawala Cloud's B2B billing backbone. It's how you bill business clients: keep a catalog of products and priced variants, sign clients to fixed-term contracts, generate invoices, record payments against them, and renew contracts with reminders. It's run from the dashboard by whoever handles your billing.

When to choose Kiosna

Reach for Kiosna when you sell to other businesses on contracts and invoices, rather than self-serve checkout:

• Recurring service contracts with line items and renewals.
• Invoicing clients and tracking what's paid, partially paid, or outstanding.
• A billing record that keeps historical invoices correct even as your prices change.

The billing chain

Each stage builds on the previous one, and prices are snapshotted forward so past documents stay accurate:

• Products & SKUs — your catalog. A product is a commercial family; a SKU is a priced, sellable variant (one-time or recurring).
• Clients — the businesses you invoice, including the billing email where reminders go.
• Contracts — fixed-term deals with line items that snapshot SKU prices. A contract moves through draft → active → ending soon → ended (or renewed/cancelled).
• Invoices — generated from a contract or standalone. An invoice flows draft → sent → partially paid → paid (or void), with the total derived from subtotal, discount, and tax.
• Payments — recorded against an invoice. Multiple payments add up, so partial payments work naturally.
• Renewals — a renewed contract becomes a new contract linked to the previous one, with reminders as the end date approaches.
