Ajena is Sawala Cloud's AI chat agent. You upload your own documents to a knowledge base, embed a chat UI on your site, and your visitors chat with an assistant whose answers are grounded in your content — not generic web knowledge. Each visitor gets their own conversation history.
When to choose Ajena
Reach for Ajena when you want an assistant that knows your material:

How it works
- Knowledge base — admins upload documents. Ajena indexes them so the assistant can retrieve the most relevant passages when answering.
- Grounded answers — at chat time, Ajena finds the relevant pieces of your knowledge base and gives them to the language model as context, so replies stay tied to your content.
- Sessions — each user has their own list of conversations, with message history preserved. Session links reveal nothing about who owns them.
Answers stream back live as they're generated, so the assistant feels responsive even on long replies.
